Catagories 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 12 are all sold out and no longer available for the Florida to California Cruise on May 14th, per the Disney Cruise Line Website.

That was fast less than a day.

Are you sure cat 1,2, and 3 are sold out or still not available due to waitlist? You have never been able to get a 1, 2, or 3 on line...

Curious cause I'm impatiently waiting for my waitlist phone call!

I just talked with DCL. The CAt 1, 2 and 3 have not been booked..they will sort out the wait list in the next couple of days according to the CM. And that was fast!

cotomom-
The way it was explained to me by Disney this morning and our Costco TA a few hours later,is that the Cat. 1, 2 and 3 were waitlisted this morning, to be released tomorrow. Per our Costco TA ,the waitlist became so full, so fast, that now they are listed as sold out and will not add anymore names to the waitlist at this time. Sorry.

To anyone who is seriously interested in one of those (or any other Cat, for that matter) and didn't get on the waitlist in time, I would wait until the 10th/11th and try again. The 10th is when all deposits are due for cruises booked today.

cat 7 and 12 are also sold out on the CA to FL repositioning cruise - cannot book those categories for that cruise any longer online.

thanks for the explanations... Makes me feel better but I'm still sick not knowing if we've gotten one or not.

Guess maybe we'll find out tomorrow! I hope so for my nerves :confused3

From what I've read so far many people that have been lucky enough to get through to TA's and DCL (reserved) more then one cabin on more then one West Coast sailing. Like previous poster said, comes Monday when deposits are due, many people will have made up their mind and dropped their extra ressies....Mark

When the extra ressies drop out and the ship is less full will the early booking window open again? My guess is no way since they can tell from today the cabins will sell. What do you think? I sure wish I had been more prepared today! I never considered the longer cruise, knowing what I paid for the 7 day, but the price this morning was really good.:D

I suspect undeposited ressies will expire late night/early morning May 10/11.

Expect May 11 to be the next reservation "frenzy" !!!

Although the rates probably won't drop back to where they were this morning, I paid almost 1000.00 more then others who booked earlier today, I wonder if I'll get an upgrade. I was only able to get a Cat. 6 guarantee. If enough people opt for the "cheaper" rooms, they may be forced to upgrade me.

I just went on DCL and from when we booked to right now, the price has gone up $1,100 per stateroom for 2 adults!

cat 11 is also sold out as well.

Cat 9 is going for more then my cat 7 went for. My guess is that the boat is already nearly full. May 11th will be an interesting day.

We just got off the phone with DCL about an hour ago trying to be compensated for a DCL booking agent mix up that cost us at least $1500 dollars....

The supervisor told us that there were only 10 rooms on the Fla to CLA cruise left and that the wait list was a mile long.

Interesting, probably why we were only given $200 onboard credit and told if we cancel our rooms we would not be able to rebook now.

Christine

Category 6 is once again available. I'm guessing as these double reservations clear out, the changes are happening. Category 9 now is more expensive then our category 7 was yesterday.

I know of one cat 10 that will be available in day or so.. 2111
is the state room #

I hope some are available for DVC points... I have a good feeling , but we will see.

Right now, Cats 6, 7 and 12 are sold out.

Only catagories 5, 10, and 11 are left now, everything else is showing sold out.

Looks like it will be a full ship.

Comes Monday when deposits are due watch how much becomes available. Unless the TA's pay the deposits themselves and keep the rooms as inventory. I have a gty for a Cat 6, I hope I get upgraded out of necessity. Mark

I think this cruise will be wonderful for those who booked early! But I want to ask one thing, how do parents with kids plan on getting them out of school for this much time right at the end of the school year?? I would have loved to book it but even here in south florida school is not over until the end of May.

I also think that those who can't get a reservation now should most definately waitlist. I think a bunch of rooms will open up when deposits are due and also when final payment is due. I am sure a lot of people reserved just to get in and then will think about it. Don't give up!
