Cat. V,R,S, T Suites Disney Cruise Line and Points

I have question maybe someone can help me with...

We routinely use our points for the Disney Cruise Line (yeah it aint a good use of points..Blah Blah Blah :crazy2:). I know on the point sheets it doesn't give the points for Cats. V,R,S,T which are suites on the Disney Cruise Line. Now I emailed member services, but I got the generic answer of how to use my points for Disney Cruise Lines. Does anyone know how much one of those rooms usually costs in points per person or how I could fine out without too much hassle?

Those categories are not available to be booked on DVC points per the published cruise point charts. You could call member services to see if there is unpublished availability, but I don't think you can book those rooms at all via points.

I'm not sure about those specific levels but historically they have allowed points to be used for categories higher than listed on the points charts. You really need to call to discuss it with MS.
 
I recently called MS to inquire about a cat. V for a four day Dream cruise next September or November (regular season). It was definitely available on points at that time. They quoted me 197 points per person (2 adults). There are stiffer cancellation policies on these reservations though...

20% of points if cancelling more than 90 days out
50% of points if cancelling 56-89 days out
75% of points if cancelling 30-55 days out
100% of points if cancelling less than 30 days out.

Definitely call Member Service though, I don't expect that an email request like this would even get to the right group, let alone get a correct answer.
