We have 3 indoor cats. I have a total of 6 litter boxes (1 is covered, and the rest are not).
I don't scoop at all. I overhaul the litter boxes once a week. I use Tidy Cat with the red top.
I'd leave my cats alone for 2 days before having a family member come over to give them fresh food, water and TLC.
