cat furniture ?

We have three cats and currently have a cat tree that we bought from Petco. The cats have shredded it and we are looking for a replacement that will be better made. Could anyone suggest a company that makes decent trees without spending a fortune? TIA

I would love to know also, mine have torn up two trees already and I have not replaced the second yet. And that was on less than a yr!!
I did find a post that they have not torn up, I had also been thru multiple posts in addition to tearing up the trees, the post is SmartCat Ultimate Cat Scratching Post. They have not torn that up at all, it got great reviews so I tried it and it has been great. They need to make a tree out of the same stuff!! My cats will not use the rope type scratchers, would only use carpet scratchers until I got the SmartCat Ultimate Cat Scratching Post. It took some time to train one of them to use it but I was able to get them to use it.

I bought ours off e-bay from a company called Armarkat, this was several years ago. I got the post for $1 then had to pay like $35 for shipping but it was a really nice size post with several levels. I looked on e-bay and they are still selling them but they are now higher priced with lower shipping, but still a lot cheaper than buying from a pet store.

Ware is a good brand for the price. I believe they carry it at Petsmart or obviously online. They mostly make small animal cages but for some reason have cat furniture too?

I also got mine from ebay. This is my third one in 6-7 years. They have all been 5-6 feet tall and cost under $100 with shipping.

I see the one in the link has faux fur. I have one with carpet which I prefer. How do those with the faux fur ones feel about it? Is it better?

Another place you might want to check is overstock.com - I got one there and when I was looking they had a variety at different price points. Unfortunately my cats have decided that the closetmaid closet system I installed in my bedroom is more to their liking than any cat furniture!

Don't discount your local closeout type store (Like Big Lots, Ocean state Job Lot, etc). I bought a 6 foot tall cat tree, of no particular brand name, with three perches for $39 or $49 at Ocean State Job lot about 4 years ago and my 5 cats love it but haven't trashed it yet.
