I'm cruising in Oct on Wonder Cat 3. I've read that Palo/Spa reservations can be made way in advance. THe Disney Reservations person said this is not allowed and that a certain amount are put aside for Cat 1-3 for day of arrival reserving. Can anyone verify this?

We've never made any reservations in advance - there has always been plenty of openings when we met with the concierge team on the first afternoon after we boarded.

Enjoy your cruise - and your Cat. 3!!!

My DU agent made our Palo reservations and dining request for us. I had read that people were being told all kinds of different things and asked Tammy if it was or wasn't allowed, and she took care of it.:teeth:

We sailed cat 3 in May and I was able to make Palo reservations with Debbie in advance. I also made a request for our dining rotation. Pre-booking your spa reservations is only available with the REAS package. You should be able to reach Debbie through the regular DCL number, but if you want her direct number, just send me a pm.

Now that's funny to me - based on what I've read here I asked Tammy that same question and she told me that it was all done on board. No big deal - I intend to call Debbie direct anyhow, but it seems different people get different answers on a regular basis about this procedure!

Here is some info from a post I made a while ago....You should call and get your PALO ressies so that way, it's one less thing to worry about once onboard...even though concierge will take care of it.

Ok...here is the info.

From our experience, and we've cruised three times all in a Cat. 2, Disney won't call you. You need to make the call to Debbie. Her number is 407-566-7411.

She is very nice. It look seconds to make the reservation. She told me that concierge will remind me of the dates once on board. She only has normal business hours though. It's either 8-4 or 9-5 ..I called around 10.

Good luck and have a nice cruise.

Oh...you can't book Spa ressies ahead of time....only once onboard. :)
