Cat. 3, 8546 and Thankgiving week 03

Has anyone stayed in this cabin? Also, do they do anything special Thanksgiving week? Does anyone have any info or picture of the Category 3 staterooms. TIA

i bet that is going to cost a pretty penny for the holiday weekend. I am jealous. You are lucky!

I believe this cat.3 has the pull down in the bedroom, we were in 8078 and that was a draw back for us. When I booked the room I was not made aware of this so we were a little suprised to find the pull down in the bedroom. We let our little one fall asleep in the sofa sleeper and then put her in her bed in our room. Besides this we loved our room. The concierge were great, we had all sorts of special surprises every day. We also went in Nov. and despite rough seas from hurricane Michelle we had great weather. Have fun!

Actually, 8546 has the pull-down bed in the bedroom. It is only the four mid-ship Cat. 3s (8032, 8034, 8532, 8534) that have the pull-down bed in the living room area.

That said, your cabin is in a great location, and you will love the amenities and concierge service.

So..after researching this boards on cabins, I contacted my absolutely fabulous TA (DreamRes) and now have cabin 8034! We are doing the 4 day cruise, coming back to port on Thanksgiving, so I was curious if they did anything on the ship for the holiday. Thanks to this board, my vacations get better and better..

Be glad you're in a 34 cabin now!!! Maybe you read my trip report from last summer. I was disappointed in 8546 compared to 8532 and 8534 that my brother's family and sister's family were in. You'll have a triple wide veranda and much more space in the sitting room. Be sure to order hot breakfast in your cabin . . . and if you don't bring tapes & CDs for the VCR & CD player the concierge has some you can borrow. The verands is so nice at night. Enjoy your cruise!!

i was in 8546 during my 3 day cruise in Sept 01 and had a ball. there was only two of us in the room so maybe thats why it worked so well for us.

loved the spa bath tub!

We were on the Magic (Thanksgiving 2000), they offer a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. It was very nice.
