I saw a great deal on a 3 night cruise with Swan or Dolphin for 4 nights but it was only cat. 11 or 12. I was thinking of going in the next couple of years but was looking at Cat 6. Is it worth taking a cheap trip in the lower staterooms or hold out for the nicer ones???
PS this would be my first cruise.

I would go with the lower cat and cruise more often. Especially on a 3 night cruise. We have cruised 3Xs, 1- 4 day and 2- 7 day and booked #4, 7 day, 2003 all in CAT9. Remember you get everything the same outside your cabin no matter what CAT you are in. Maybe if our 1st cruise was a higher CAT room I would be spoiled, but you don't miss what you never had. I figure with what I have saved on the 4 cruises by a lower price I can take #5.

Disney Cruises are fantastic and you won't miss a thing in the less expensive category. If you wait until you can afford a category 6 what you'll miss is all the fun you could have had sooner! We've been on 2 of the 4 nighters and are bound for a 7 nighter . . . it's THE perfect family vacation we think!
