Castle view at 'Ohana dinner?

This will be our first time eating at 'Ohana. We have a reservation for a party of 3 for a 3:50 pm dinner. Since it's a pretty early reservation, and we are a smaller party, are chances good that we will get a table with a view of the Magic Kingdom castle? Would chances be better if we had an earlier reservation? They open at 3:30 for dinner---I could keep checking back-but if chances are about the same either way, I won't bother.

Just because you're a smaller party early doesn't make chances especially better, because they space in tables based on server load.

I think chances are the same either way for this reason.

I had a 3:30 adr and we got a castle table without asking... so did friends of ours (both parties for two, on different sides of the restaurant though). That said I think they seat people first there (or at least they were that night) so your chances of getting it with a 3:50 ADR are probably more slim since I think by then they would be filled already.

you're welcome. this was just my experience on one night of course but it did seem like they were filling window tables first. there are a lot of tables for 2/3 against the windows though. Also if you can't move it, you can try showing up REALLY early anyway. it might work out since sometimes people show up late. i think for that one I showed up right at 3:30 for a 3:30 ADR and I got the window table without asking.

I understand wanting fireworks view, but I don't get that view in daylight.
