Castle turrets decorated pictures Feb 3

I went to the park this afternoon and took some pictures of the castle at MK. The turrets are decorated and it looks beautiful.

The crane is still there behind and to the right of the castle. They also blocked the sidewalk off with wood. The barricade is higher than it was the other day.

It still makes for a beautiful picture.

I am so thankful every time I go to the parks that I can go anytime I want now. I can't believe sometimes that I don't have to get on an airplane anymore to go to WDW. It still is as thrilling as it was when we could only come once or twice a year.

So I try to share so everyone feels like they get to see the parks more often.

When I took the pictures it was cloudy and overcast. Imagine blue skies when you are dreaming. I didn't want to wait a day or two to take the pictues since everyone has been interested in the process.

I was there Tuesday night at park closing and they only had one of the turretts decorated at that point. It looked kind of out of place. They must be fast workers! I wonder if they will end up decorating them all or leave a few of them plain? I thought the green wall was less distracting than I had imagined. It really wasn't that bad.

Thank you so much for sharing these pictures, safetymom! We leave 3 weeks from today for our very first visit to the World and we couldn't be more excited! I am so glad you have been keeping us up to date, now we will know what to expect. I do have one question. We have a PS for CRT our first morning, and entrances to the castle appear obstructed. There are entrances that are open, right?? Surely can't miss our princess breakfast.

You can still walk up around the castle. You can walk through the middle of the castle. It is only the sidewalk on the right that goes around the back as you face the castle that is closed.

Thanks for the great pics of the castle....I think I can stop worrying about the kids being shocked and finding a tarped castle. I think it is going to be beautiful...

I am a little confused about those green walls....are they directly in front of the castle...where the show was?? ( i foget the name of it now...Surprise celebration??)

Are they still taking pictures on Main Street with the castle in the background??
