Castle tarped?? Good news for Oct/Nov

I have seen many threads on whether the castle would be tarped, and really hoped it would not be when I was there in two weeks - looks like they will wait til after the holidays according to mice age: (quoted from miceage.com)

"Before I forget, in a past update I'd indicated that the castle would go under tarps this month to re-tweak the color scheme once the 50th bling was removed. Imagineer Kim Irvine was insistent on this as she felt the colors were not right without the bling to balance them out.

Well the park has now decided that the paint/minor rehab job can wait a few months, until after Christmas is done with. With the immediate success of the Halloween promotion (and an upcoming Friday the 13th press event), plus the expected crowds for Christmas who want to see the decorations in their full glory, upsetting Irvine a little was considered better than frustrating the expected seasonal crowds."

That is great news about the castle, we are going to be there Monday (Oct 9th- 14th). What is this about a Press Event?

Is there an expected date for the tarping? We will be there in Mid-January and it appears we will be losing out on Small World and HM, don't want to miss the castle too.

I tried a few google searches to figure it out, but do not see anything. My only assumption is some sort of media there for day 1 of MHT, esp. since it is Friday the 13th.
