Castle repainting

The castle, albeit an impressive looking building, is made of plastic. It has no appeal except visual.
Hmm last time I checked it has a concrete base, with a Steel Superstructure, and then mostly Fiberglass prefab modules bolted together. There is not much exterior Plastic (Florida Heat/Sun is very harsh on plastic.

My point was... it isn't a real castle! If one were to go to an actual castle not a single speck of Fiberglass or Plastic (same thing) being that it isn't made of actual materials that is used as live in buildings for king, queens, prince or princess. It contains a restaurant, a nice mosaic mural and a special room that at this point is either covered in cobwebs or used for the occasional CM tryst. It doesn't matter if it is made with a concrete base, steal skeleton and "fiberglass" exterior. Those were just materials used to create a make believe castle. Majestic looking indeed, but still a visual fantasy.

OP, There are always things being worked on at WDW, but I understand your feelings about the castle, because the castle is definitely a big deal.

The problem is perhaps that if you avoid going because of the castle, then after the castle's finished, you might avoid going because the Cars area hasn't opened yet and/or the Villains area hasn't opened or the Tropical Americas area at DAK isn't quite done, etc., etc., etc.

What I'm saying is there's always something under construction at WDW. It's impossible to avoid.
