Disney photography told another Disney bride that the castle moat will be filled on April 11. Obvi this could change.

i bet they are going to fill the parts closes to the castle only.

Actually that is not part of the plans at all some small part away from the castle will be filled. The hub is getting a massive makeover most of the moat will stay.

i know most of the moat is going to stay, but this is for castle photoshoots for weddings. I think they care about the parts that are right by the castle.

from the renderings Disney has released the moat around the castle is going to stay

That immediately meant "filled with water" to me.
It didn't to me because it said closest to the castle so they would have to but something in the moat to stop water from going to the rest of the moat that they are working on. I don't know we will have to wait and see I guess.

yes I meant filled with water --- i wrongly assumed that was what people would think when I mentioned it lol

I am also confused how they could fill some of it with water and not all of it. Maybe they will fill it then drain it again? who knows.

A bridal photoshoot at the magic kingdom costs close to 2k. I have been reading as much as I can about this hub project and thought I would pass along any info I received.

From most of the experiences I've read from brides about MK shoots, and seeing some of the photos....you might as well light your 2k on fire.
