Castle Inn?

We had a bad experience there in 2005 so we won't go back. When we arrived there was no running water, the room wasn't very clean. Bathroom was dirty, carpets were dirty. The floors felt lumpy too. Then the TV was completely out for 3 of the 5 days we were there. We like to watch tv on our mid-day breaks and at night. Front desk was rude, and we were never able to speak to a supervisor or manager (even though we were told they would have her contact us). When we left they didn't even ask about our stay. Never offered an apology for the things not working, or any partial refund even to try and make us happy. Should have known how our stay was going to go by the people complaining when we were checking in!

Others I've heard have had better experiences, especially with suites (we only had a regular room with two queens). We had stayed there right after we got married in 1996 and had a great stay. We were really disappointed after coming back. We really aren't that picky either. I just like a clean room where everything works!

My DD and DW(and I0 were ther last Sept. DD walks into the first room they assign her,there were roaches.They were reassigned to a 'suite'(up front). The AC sounded like a garbage disposal,and the traffic noise was herendous(not their fault though). The room was doable for 5 adults and 2 g-kids.Walk wasn't 'too' bad.Nice enough place,but I doubt we'll use it again,unless we're in a pinch. My $.02.

I am also not a fan of the Castle Inn. Be sure to read on-line reviews before you book your stay. Maybe try the Carousel Inn & Suites- we love it there.

I've stayed there twice. The toilet has overflowed both times I've stayed there. Carpets are in dire need of replacing. Really only a choice for people on a budget. My first choise is always the Best Western Anaheim Inn (which is closer to the park entrance, much cleaner and better overall). So there you go.
