Castle Club questions

Hi All

Am thinking of booking the castle club suites for april/may this year and wondered if you could answer a couple of questions

1, I have seen/read that not all castle blub suites have a view of the park? And the only way you can guarentee a view is book a suite? (I thought thats what the castle club were) or is there other suites?

2, How many bedrooms do they have?

3, Do you check in the normal way or is there a special place you go to ?

4, It says coffee/tea and soft drinks available is that all day?

5, Do the characters come up there also if you have breakfast on the castle club floor?

6, Last q Can you only book via telephone or is there a site that has the list of prices?

The Castle Club rooms are just normal rooms on the top floors. However, they have their own reception and lounge where breakfast and afternoon tea is served. Non alcoholic drinks are free all the time. You get a much more personal service. The characters do come up to the lounge periodically at breakfast time but it is easy to just pop down in the lift to the official meet n greets. I don't think many of the CC rooms have a park view and those that do are at a premium supplement of around £100+/night, I think. The DLH does also have suites which have access to the CC facilities but would be considerably more expensive although probably have park views. As far as I'm aware you do need to ring to book a CC room. Your key card gives you access to the private lifts and take you right down to the park entrance. Hope this is of some help.

Its the suites I am interested in so I will have to give them a ring and make sure I am sat down when they tell me the price

The junior suites aren't on the Castle Club floors at all, they are on the second floor in the corners of the building. Tinkerbell suites are on CC floor but are all AFAIK are garden/disney village view. There are 4 walts apartments 2 are garden and 2 park. The vice pres and the pres suites are both park view but you are talking around £2500 and £1900 a night for those rooms.

IMO it looks rather outdated in them pics.

well i was thinking it looks ancient but I was trying to be polite, I guess then the only real advantage of that is the prime location it is in.

I personally think that hotel was already there before disneyland was built i mean there is no way you could delibratley make something look that out of date lmao.

Thing is the outside looks sooooooo nice and dreamy, i would be super let down if I walked in a room like that.

Well as long as it doesn't smell like my granny's house then I guess it is a bonus!

The entire Disneyland Paris Resort was built on farm land, much of it used for beet previously. If there had been anything there you can be certain that Disney pulled it down and built to the companies standards and values. If there is one thing certain about Disney, every act and theme is very deliberate and as a poster has guessed is often a homage to Walt Disney and times both past and future

The kitchen does look particularly MFI in the 80's compared to the rest of the suite. It looks fab and location wise is perfect. I'm not sure I could ever justify the spend though. I've been lucky enough to stay in suites at the New York and Newport with business and whilst they were lovely if I was paying myself I still don't think I would pay the prices that they are. Now if money was no object thats a different story.............

Does anyone know if you can up-grade to a castle club room upon arrival? I am booking a room using DVC points, but it is only a standard room. Would love to up-grade to castle club once we arrive using cash if possible!

I would presume that, if you could afford to stay there, then you would not be using the kitchen anyway - your maid/butler would be preparing the food and drinks
