what is the best way to rebook a disney cruise useing your castaway club and to get the best rates

Not really any special rates/perks for castaway club members.

Other cruislines offer repeat cruisers special prices, free cruises after so many, etc.

The best thing is to still book early.

The best way to get a castaway club discount is to re book while still on board.

I just did this and to my surprise I was given an unbeatable rate. I attempted to transfer my ressie to costco, and they could only match it, not beat it. I also got the $200 onboard credit.

I have never had a situation before where costco did not have the best cruise price.

Way to go disney !!!!

That is their policy though. To maxamize your castaway benifit you have to re book on board. You can transfer the date as much as you need, and still keep the credit.

Rebook while on board. Then come home and transfer the ressie to a discount agent (like DU or cruisetraveloutlet) and get their discount too!

Discount TAs work in 2 ways--they either buy up a block of cabins and resell them OR they give you a discount/rebate of a portion of their commission. THose that give you some of their commission can give you their discount on top of DCLs 10% and you still have your $200 stateroom credit. All in all, a great deal.
