Hi to everyone, my question is do they have anyone (beside yourself) that takes pictures. For example while your feeding the stingray's and don't have a waterproof camera does Disney have someone that can take pictures, I'm sure there is a fee involved. Thanks

We have never done any excursions on CC (other than a Cabana), but in the past we have had our picture taken from the ship's photographers just roaming around the beach!

On your way to CC tell a photographer you would like get pictures while you are feeding at what time and they will have someone there. You will also see them around the island and at photo spots.

There weren't any photographers taking pics when we did the stingray excursion. I didn't know about asking them, I have a waterproof camera so I was able to take pics.

Not always. Depending on your CC day, they cut off the ship photographers around noon to have all the pictures available and the drives for debarkation the next day. Depending on time of day, you may not be able to get a ship's photographer.

On Amazon you can get a waterproof phone pouch for $10. You can use it for the depths you will find while feeding the rays. You can also get similar pouches for small cameras. They are ok for snorkelling also, but not much deeper.

Both times I have sailed I got a disposible Fuji underwater camera from Walmart that worked well. Only disadvantage is you have to get the film developed so you can't see the pictures right away. I could take any pictures I wanted and didn't have to worry about it getting wet or sandy.

I kept an eye out for photographers but never saw any. Maybe that’s why. It was the last day of the cruise.

I had a waterproof pouch and took pictures of my daughters at the stingray adventure. I didn’t do the excursion but they allowed me on the beach

We saw no photographers at our Stingray Feeding, just one photographer wandering around the beach area on each day we were at Castaway Cay. And of course at the character meet locations.
Overall, we got very few photos (18 in 5 days of cruising, of which 45% were at terminal and 45% were at ticketed meet&greet events) due to lack of photographers on the ship and island, but perhaps that's an aberration due to it being a member cruise (lots of "Disney celebrities" for those photographers to focus on.

I was very disappointed with our photo experience and have been sharing that with clients, as a word of caution about pre-purchasing those expensive photo packages.
