We like to get off the ship early, get Karen a sunlounger then myself and Matt go snorkelling, no idea where time goes out there, last year over 2 hours finding all the hidden stuff, taking photos & video. We then walked down the runway and to the other side of the Adult beach to find a Geocache hidden out there, back for lunch on the island before going back to the ship. Great morning on the island. We were supposed to be parasailing but it was cancelled.
Another year we did fishing trip in the afternoon, considered again last year but opted for the parasailing instead.
So much to do though, difficult to decide.
Off the ship asap and straight to Serenity Bay. Grab a hammock and lounger near the entrance pick up me prebooked water floaty device and run like mad into the sea then float ....and burn
Seriously if you head into the sea for any length of time cover up and use water resistant lotion. I didn't a few years ago and really suffered. Captains cocktail party that afternoon back on board and i was beaming like a lighthouse and the even the Captain said i should go lie down for the evening.
Second fav thing to do is enjoy the great beach BBQ they put on. Missed it first time round by spending the whole day at Serenity where you can get a burger but wouldn't miss doing the BBQ again.
So did we - the cycle path off the runway leads to a look-out tower where you get to see how big the island actually is. After the delicious BBQ lunch and a snooze in a hammock we went snorkelling - the water was so warm it was like getting into a bath.
As most have already posted, hammocks at Serenity Bay are wonderful (especially with a Konch Kooler in hand!)
Snorkelling is a lot of fun but make sure you keep applying the sun screen
Rent a bike as a way to explore more of the island
Oh and the Stingray Encounter is fun
