Castaway Cay Stingray Adventure cancelled

We just got an email from DCL stating that our Stingray Adventure in August is no longer available for the time we booked. When I tried to rebook, it shows sold out. I’m curious if other people on upcoming cruises got similar emails.

We are on an Eastern cruise. Good call on the docking time change. We were scheduled to go ashore at 10:00 am so we booked the 11:00 am Stingray Adventure. I just checked and our ashore time now show 10:45 am so they probably figured there wouldn’t be enough time to get to the lagoon for an 11:00 am spot.

Are you on the 8/17 cruise? If not, I have seen some reports of that being canceled on that cruise too. If that is your cruise you are probably one of the people I've seen report it. Sorry that happened to you...and sorry the arrival time is later!

Yes, our cruise is the 8/17 Eastern. After sponica suggested changes to docking times, we also found out that we are leaving St. Thomas 45 minutes earlier than the time listed when we booked our excursions at 120 days out. Glad we didn’t choose an afternoon excursion for that day!

Is the Fantasy still (or again) having problems traveling at higher speeds?

Our Sep cruise skipped CC due to engine problems. The arrival would have been around lunchtime. We had our full scheduled stop in St Thomas, though.

This is weird. I was on the same cruise/same week last year. Due to a storm, and them wanting us to make it to CC, they adjusted our St Thomas departure time to earlier, the day before, and advised we would be arriving at CC late. We did make it there late but they also stayed later so we ended up getting about the same amount of time there as we should have. Strange they are adjusting things this early on. It's obviously not weather related.

It currently shows 10:45-4:45. I wonder if staying later is the Captains call? We have arrived to CC late twice in the past year (not planned this far out once and not planned at all once), but both times they had us stay a little later. Hopefully the Captain can make a game time decision for us.
