Castaway Cay Snorkeling ?

Does anyone know if you have to pay for a vest to snorkel at Castaway Cay? I've read that you must wear a life vest, and I know you get one when renting snorkel gear, but I have my own gear.

I loved snorkeling - but I opted not to wear the vest - Don't know if that was allowed or not - but I didn't use it...

When we went last year the vest was free.

Vest is free and is required, or at least that is the written policy.
