Castaway Cay restrooms

I was just wondering if there are restrooms at the different beaches on the island and what they are like. Are there places to change or do you go back on board? How convenient is it to go back to your room on the ship during your time at CC? Also wondering if you keep running into the room steward (?) when you go back to your room. Are there times to avoid your room so you don't disturb the cleaning?

I know these questions are silly, but I've been wondering

There are plenty of restrooms. I found them to be very clean. The woemens had 4 or 5 stalls- I don't really remember exactly. There are at least 2 sets at the family beach. I had to wait behind 2 women one time- the others I was able to walk right in. I didn't get over to the other beaches. It would be quite a haul to go back to the ship to go to the bathroom or whatever else all day.

There are plenty of bathrooms in Castaway Cay, and as stated they are clean. They also have outdoor showers next to the bathrooms so you can get some off the sand off too. :)

The stewards are amazingly quick in getting the rooms cleaned. If you don't want to be disturbed just put the privacy sign out. I found them to be very accommodating at cleaning the room during the times we were out doing other things.

On our 3-day cruise last year, we never once saw our room steward. I just assumed "pixie dust" was responsible for our made beds and towel animals! Of course, we were never there either. The restrooms at CC are fine, I sort of remember some wetness and sand on the floor, but not more than you would expect right next to the beach. I'd rinse off there and then take a real shower once you're back in your room.

On one of our trips, we had a hostess like kasar's...almost never saw her for the entire trip, but everything in the room was always **** & span. Normally we see our host or hostess quite a bit. When you leave the room, you can turn the sign to "Clean Stateroom" so they know you will be gone for a while and they can come in to clean. They also get to know your routine...they know when your shows and dinners are scheduled, so they seem to try to work around that.
The bathrooms at Castaway Cay also have those paper seat liners...handy, since the seats tend to get wet after swimmers in wet suits use them. There is almost always someone in there cleaning. If you want to be on a quiet part of the family beach and be close to little-used restrooms, set up "camp" near Castaway Jo's.
