Castaway Cay Pkg

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the bicycles have those baby seats attached to it?

We are trying to decide (opinions and suggestions are welcomed) if we should go with the snorkeling package or the Castaway Cay all day Package or maybe none since we will be traveling with a 14 month old and it will limit what DH and I can do together. Would it be just as enjoyable not to book anything in advance and just relax on the beach and walking around?

Do the bikes with baby seats also come with helmets for the kids? It would be so nice to get away on a family outing for a few hours on the island. Are there any remote places (beaches) that you can goto with kids on the bikes? What is there to see on the bikes?

We just returned form a cruise and we got the pkg. It was great fun! The bike ride was a nice change from all of the other activities we had been doing. We don't have a small child, but there were many little ones in baby seats on the bike path. They have bikes with training wheels, too. I highly suggest the package!!

I'm sure what ever you do it will be fun. But you asked for an "opinion" and mine is: I would avoid the package and just play it by ear. Even though the island is very flat do you want to be biking in the middle of the day. Also CC is a very short day (approx. 10-3:30). It may be just as enjoyable to take a tram ride to look at the adult beach then just hang out back at the family beach. With a 14 month old one has to stay flexible. And as far as I know, you can wait until you are on CC to make the package decision. I don't beieve they sell out (however I'm not positive).

Bud625: You're absolutely correct! When you have little one's you have to be very flexible. They are in charge. My original plan was not to worry about booking anything until we got onboard and then I got the papers in the mail and got all excited and anxious!

Does anyone know how difficult it is to get the package on the island?
