Castaway Cay - parasailing

Is sold for my cruise. Is there any chance, do you think, of cancellations? I’ve booked the Banana Boat, but that’s only half an hour

I was thinking maybe of the Stingray excursion ….has anyone done that? I guess I could also just explore the town…but I’d like to do at least one more activity. Though, Pelican Plunge looks fun (even if I would have to grip my glasses, lol)

There is no “town” on Castaway Cay. There are some shops, and you can walk the 5K route to the airstrip. without an excursion on CC the primary activity is simply a beach day. You can do snorkeling, rent floats, bike rentals, etc. without advanced planning.

Yep. We’ve signed up for parasailing three times and twice it’s been cancelled due to winds, even if it doesn’t seem like much on the beach.

Ooh, that’s disappointing …but not much you can do about the weather.

I could just do 2 Banana Boats…I love being out on the water, on fast boats or the like

My kids did the stingray excursion and enjoyed it. There was a lot of swimming involved so rather strenuous.

That’s something to consider - but it’s certainly a unique experience, and that’s something I’m trying to experience on this cruise

That's my same track record. 1 for 3. We'll try again next time, I'm sure! Either way, we always have a great day. We often default to the bike rental.

Only once have I seen the board stating no excursion cancellations. Every other time almost all of them other than the sea flap flaps have been cancelled.

I'd just plan on a nice relaxing beach day, personally.
