Hi everyone! This is my first thread/post on this website :) I will be parasailing for an upcoming trip at the end of July in CC! I was wondering what would be the best time to RSVP considering the weather. As of right now I have it booked for 11:00 am. Thanks in advance!

Usually earlier is better. If storms are going to pop up it is usually in the afternoon. Though when we parasailed we were on the last excursion of the day - earlier in the morning were canceled for winds. So it all depends on the weather.

We were at CC last Friday and parasailed at noon. The weather was perfect then. I originally scheduled it for 11:00am but we were late docking at CC due to leaving St Thomas late because of 2 medical emergencies. All the parsailing excursions were automatically pushed an hour later. I was talking to a family who parasailed a few hours later and their weather was fine too. But I suppose it really depends on the day. What is good one day may not be another.

Have fun! Both of our times were in the morning and we had a great time. Nothing you can do about the weather so don't worry about it. Hopefully you will have great weather and I know you'll have a great time.

I agree with previous posts that earlier is usually better. When we went I think our time was around 11am or 12pm. We were the last group out for the day due to wind.

I have two questions about my upcoming Parasailing I have book:

- Do you have to get your tickets for Parasailing after you get on the ship? I did book online a couple of days ago?
- I have a wrist mounted GoPro, can I use that during the Parasaling?

Thanks for the help!

Your excursion tickets will be in your room when you board. I have not used a GoPro, but when we did this 3 years ago we were allowed to use our iPhone that we had in a case around our neck so I think you would be able to use it.

We went out this past week at CC. Our time was for 9AM. I scheduled this time for two reasons. #1 - The Dis recommended morning due to afternoon storms. (Thanks all) 2# - I thought it would be nice and convenient to stop at Marge's Barges just off the ship and do that first. Then take the tram on to Pelican Point for the rest of the day. It just made sense for us.

We were one of three families using a GoPro on our boat. One had the wrist strap and another family and ours used an extendable pole. I liked the idea of the pole because it allows you to frame your shot with any background you want and from any angle. You can get a cheap one for around $20 online if you don't think you'll use it much.

Your tickets should be delivered to your room by your host the night before the excursion. Have a great time!! Wished we were still there!
