castaway cay member gift ?

What is the gift for previous bookings these days, is it still the towel? I hope its the tote bag again...

We're sailing this weekend, but I suspect it is still the towel.
I wish they would bring back the blue beach bags. I only have one left, as we sold several on Ebay, and the poor thing is about to fall apart from my abuse. You'd be amazed at the amount of stuff I can cram in there. It looks like a clown car or magician's hat when I start pulling it all out!

Barb - since you have the most cruises under your belt maybe you have some pull with the Captain - put in a requisition for the return of the tote bags.

My famiily has sailed before iand we had 2 cabins. When we sail again will we get 2 towels if we do the 2 cabins again? We only have one CC #. Is it one per # or per cabin?

Yay! I hope it's the towel, we don't have one. Our last cruise, which was too long ago, was a black sports bag with water bottles. They were cool, we still use them a lot.

That's a good question--the 4 of us will be CC members in one room--but DS will be in the room with my parents--he is a CC member although he will be 6 years old--wonder if he'll get a towel too!

I believe that if you have 2 cabins and aone person in each cabin with a CC# than you will get 2. If you have one cabin with more than one person with a CC# you will get one towel and the rest in pins. We had 3 in our cabin with CC#'s and we received one towel and 3 pins.

We also got the black sports bag back in 2001 and love it. It still looks brand new.

We got the sports bag too. Much more useful than the beach towel or pins (I'm not into towel or pin trading) but for going on short trips noting beats a good sports bag and the DCL one is the perfect size for a carryon on the plane. We need at least one more like it, two more would be preferable.

Okay, tell me........we have two rooms booked.......six people, six castaway club #'s......how many gifts will we get. Not to be greedy, BUT........don't want DD's fighting!

One gift per room, although I think they give a pin for each person. But the big gift is per room, not per person.

Trying to figure this out...we sailed as a family of 4 last year and are sailing again at the end of May. We have a CC# under my DW who booked the reservation. Does this number go for just her? Do we need to get CC#'s for all of us?

Nope! When you book your next cruise all you need to do is tell DCL when the last time you traveled was and they will take care of it. There is only one "returning cruiser" gift per room so it really doesn't matter who has the CC "club" number.

With as cheep as the returning cruiser gifts are (a towel and a couple of pins) you would think that they would give a gift to each person, not just per room.

We are booked on our 2nd cruise utilizing DVC points/Cash for the reservation. DCL has our CC #’s from when we booked the reservation. Will we also receive a CC gift in our room? I wasn’t sure since we are booked partly on points.

Hello everybody, Speaking of CC members. I sailed with my DH last October. After our cruise he received a CC member card. I have called three times to have them send one in my name since he will not be cruising with me this June. I'm still waiting - actually I have given up. I was told I could use his card. Anybody have the same experience? WIll I have a problem using his card? Thanks.

I called and was told only 1 CC # per address. We have 2 cabins also and was hoping for 2 gifts. They say NO.

If you have returning cruisers booked in each room, each room SHOULD recieve a gift. If the second room doesn't, talk to your room steward, he/she will check it out for you. If that doesn't work, take your complaint to guest services.

We sailed and had two cabins.....a CC member was in each cabin...I was listed in one, and hubby was listed in the other....we received 1 towel and 2 pins PER STATEROOM. This was last year.....I don't think things have changed??
