HI, My 2 DD's have just found out they are going on the Wonder :earsgirl: :cheer2: :earsgirl: :cheer2: Excited is an understatment.
Anyway they would like to know what type of things they can do in the kids club on Castaway Cay?
I was hopeing we would spend the day as a family, but they ovbiously have other ideas( so we might get to the adult side for a couple of hours afterall)

LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM ALL YOU EXPERTS

The younger kids clubs don't go anywhere near the water so if they like the water you will ha ve to ge them and take them in yourself. I don't think my 5 year old will want to do the club that day since she likes swimming in the water.

my girls went in the club for a few hours while we walked the beaches, here's a tip, stay at the main beach. It's much cleaner and nicer than the adult beach. When we were there Feb. 5/05 it was very murky, and dirty. It could have been the way the tide was, it was rough. The family beach was clean, and well groomed. The kids searched for shells, and I'm not sure what else. It was quite cool and windy that day, so they beeped us to go back on the ship. I wouldn't let them go until we had lunch at the famous Cookies bbq. I told them I had heard so much about it from all of you , there was no way I was missing it!!

I don't have the kid's navigators for that age group but Dave's site should have some recent ones that would tell you what the activities are. :)

We only got to spend about a half hour at the adult beach in December '04 (our first cruise) and we loved it. The water was so clear, no waves and waist-deep for as far as we could walk. There were a few fish, starfish, and someone said there had been a ray there earlier in the day. We went very late in the day -caught the last tram back to the family area. This was our favorite part of the day. DS didn't try the club on CC this time, but he definitely will next time. You'll have plenty of other family time. We really enjoyed this "alone" time. We're double-dipping at CC on the Special Western in Dec '06. Maybe your girls will be tired of swimming all morning and want to go to the club after lunch for an hour or two.

Thanks to you all for all your help and advice :flower:
I would like to spend the day together, but it's the kids holiday as much as ours' and we will have 3 weeks after to do everything together    I think we will just go with the flow if they want to go to the clubs that's fine if they want to stay thats fine
