Castaway Cay kayaks?

Does anyone know whether CC has traditional or sit upon kayaks (sometimes called Ocean kayaks)?

When we did the kayaking excursion there we used the sit upon (Ocean kayaks) not the traditional.

I didn't know they had single ones. The indication on the excursion is that you're in a double one. Main reason I'll never do it. I do not want to be on a kayak with a stranger. (Ditto why I'll never do the parasailing as the boat captain can require you to go up tandem.)

Lol.Maybe that is why I could not find pictures of them. I guess I will have to wait to find out. I was hoping that the ones that you just rent might be single.

Ah. I didn't know they had them that you could rent. I thought they were only with excursions. Probably because I'm content to chill on Serenity Bay. LOL

Ocean kayak when my son and I rented one. It was a double, but there was no reason why a single person couldn't take one out.

Thank you. I was hoping to rent a tandem to give an 11 year old his first experience with me. And then once he was coomfortable switch to two singles. I like that we can rent by the half hour - assuming the info I found online is still accurate.

But we will figure this out. And enjoy ourselves no matter what we find there.

Thank you. Clearly, I did not search as well as I thought. I know someone had their 11-12 year old on a tandem for the excursion.

I would hope they could also be on a tandem rental, since renters are limited to a very protected lagoon. I have no info on singles. If you are cruising after Novembe 5th, 2018, I will have first hand experience - and will share.
