Castaway cay floats

Are floats still available individually on castaway cay? The only thing listed on port adventures is the bike only or the getaway package that includes float, snorkel, and bike. Can we just walk up to float kiosk and charge to account? Any ideas on cost? Thanks

Yes, they are. $12

They were $12 in December when we went. I think you could reserve them at that time (ahead of time), but the option to purchase the day of was available too. Several people elsewhere mentioned you'd likely be able to grab one that someone else was no longer using, but that didn't appear to be the case in our situation.

Thanks! That sounds much better than $44 for my "adult" 10 yr old DD who wouldn't touch the snorkel gear last time.

Does the $12 allow you to use the float for the full day? If you get it in the AM, but then turn it in when you go to have lunch, can they check your account after lunch and see that you paid for a float “rental?”

It is for the whole day. I wouldn't return it-just leave with your chair or where ever you set up camp for the day. All good.

You can also switch between the donut type tube and a blue mat type of float. My kids loved switching it up during the day.
