I'm curious about this too. I'd love to rent a bike, but I can't balance on a two-wheeler. My son has trouble too.

There are training wheels for children's bikes but not adult 3 wheel bikes

Absolutely do not book in advance. They have plenty of bikes. And as others have said, there is no check on how long you have them out. You don't check them back in when you return them so there is absolutely no way they know how long you had them! To do a "full" island tour it will probably take you about 90 minutes, including taking the path that runs behind the adult beach and stopping and the water overlook at the end. It's hot and humid and you won't be traveling very fast! But no need to worry about getting back by a certain time.

Sadly, they won't do us any good, since we're both adults. My son can sort of just manage on a two-wheeler, but he's pretty wobbly. I can't do it all anymore. Very few places have them, but I would love that!

I saw numerous people walking and running on the paths. You can still enjoy them even without a bike.

We spend quite a bit of time on the bikes every time we go. The last 2 times, someone took our bikes when we stopped to eat lunch at Serenity Bay. There is a small rental shop at Serenity bay and they just gave us new bikes both times.
