Hi,

I thought I would try the DisAbilities board first and see if there is someone here who knows if I would be able to access the adult beach on Castaway Cay? I'm in an EVC and this will be my first cruise.

If anyone has any tips as far as accessibility, etc. that I should be made aware of before I cruise that would be greatly appreciated as well as this will be my first cruise ever. I'm sailing in a cat. 5 with myself and sis who are both in EVCs and another adult couple.

Thanks fellow Disers!

This article on AllEarsNet has a good bit of information on WDW and the Cruise Line and being in a wheelchair. I linked to the first part of the Cruise Line section but the next page has information on the adult beach. The writer was able to take his powerchair most of the way to the beach before switching to a sandchair. I would think it would be the same with an ECV.

From reading the article it looks like that most of the ship and Castaway Cay are very accessable.
