We are planning on taking the Western 7 night in May 2006 and want to know why you would want to go to Castaway Cay 2 times? I'm not opposed to it, but just want to know if there's enough to do there to stop 2 times. What are some of the things that YOU do there that would make you want to go twice?

Thanks.

We were on the thanksgiving 2004 cruise that stopped in CC 2 times. We loved the 2 stops. The first day at CC we explored the island and went parasailing--definitely worth doing!! The 2nd stop at CC we relaxed and spent time w/ our DIS friends--we all got chairs near each other. Our DS (5) loved Scuttle's Cove and spent a good portion of the 2 stops there. They had a lot of activities for the kids. He also enjoyed playing in the water w/ us. We enjoyed the trip so much we rebooked for the same week this year w/ the same 2 stops at CC.

We really enjoy spending time on the beach with the kids. This time (1/16 Wonder) it was a little on the windy/chilly side, so they didn't want to be in the water too much, but spent the afternoon making a terrific sand castle fortress - moat and all. It was a highlight of the kids' trip. A friend and I went on the ecologocial wave runner excursion - lots of fun, but on this day the waves were pretty big - not the glass seas that the guides said they normally had. Nevertheless, it was a blast. I would love to have a second CC day - for me it is very relaxing. If I had a second day, I might sign up for one of those cabana massages. We didn't put the kids in the kids club on the island because we really enjoyed having them with us on the beach. If there were a second day, perhaps they could experience some of the children's programming while mom and dad had some relaxing time.

We want to book one of the double dip cruises next year! Having CC on the last day makes it hard to do alot if you have young kids. I have to have them back on the ship by 3 and cleaned up to go to the club by 4 to practice for the final kid show then back to the room to change for early dining then to the theater to try to find a seat at 5 then go to the club & check them out when they finally get back from the theater then get them both changed for dinner. WHEW! It would be wonderful to have a day there where we could just stroll back to the ship at 4 and take our time getting ready for dinner.

You said it, lbgraves!

I want to be able to fully enjoy CC without having to rush back to do all that needs to be done the last night. We look forward to doing just that on the Thanksgiving 2005 cruise! :cool1:

LOL! I forgot all about the packing you need to do if you haven't already.

i'm soooo looking forward to two days at CC -- we all loved the island the day went too quickly. not enough time for enjoying it to the fullest in just one day. i believe we reboard around 4 p.m.

i did a cabana massage in the morning, it was heavenly but shortened my day too much

We decided on the 1/2/05 Wonder that we would love to skip Nassau and just stop at CC. It was just a great, beautiful place to be.
