Cast Referral Q

Hey Disboarders!

I don't know if anybody here would know the answer to this (Disney has been... unresponsive) but...

My friend who works at Disneyland as a "Systems Specialist" (but really he does Traditions) is going to put in a referral (recommendation? whatever) for me. My question is, is it really going to be helpful as a CP applicant?

I don't want him to use one and then Disney is like "lawl, it doesn't even help! teehee!"

If DL is like WDW he'll get $100 after you hit 90 days. I've never heard of the referral system helping the applicant. That only helps prior to when they speak to somebody in casting 1-on-1 and say "hey you should pull this guys application and interview him ASAP. Oh and hire him."
