What a great thread this is!
When I stay to park closing, we get on line for that last ride we "have" to ride. Then we take our time taking in the sights and talking about our day, and maybe peeking in a shop or two on the way out. We do, however, always seem to make it out between 30-45 minutes beyond official closing time, mostly depending on how long it took to get on that last ride. I have a hard time seeing why anyone "needs" to be in the park more than an hour after closing, unless the ride line is that long.
