Cast dining plan?

I was curious but if you are a CM and you book a room, is there anyway to get the dining plan? I know for non-CMs you have to purchase the "Magic your Way" package to get the dining plan, so I wasn't sure.

If you can get it, does anyone know how much it is? My mom and godmother visited last month and I could add it on and they offered a discount the time they were there.

You don't get much of a discount. You do have to do it through the phone though as adding the dining plan is not availible online when you book cast discounted rooms. Just call 407-wdw-cast. Occasionally they do offer discounts on dining plan, but it's only a few times a year.

I just got back from a trip in early June and they happened to be running a Cast Member discount on the dining plan. Be sure to check on the HUB or call (407) WDW-CAST to find out if there are any promotional offers.

one good way is to search cast dining plan on the hub. I was able to get it last year for only $20 per person per night, so thats pretty cheap. But make sure you get it quickly because it sells out fairly fast. And yes its only offered for certain periods throughtout the year, so just keep checking.

Just found out it is going on now until like mid August..probably due to the free dining plan kicking in for the general public during mid August.
