I would like to thank you for your contribution of $10.00 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in honor of Mr. Caskbill. Your support helps the Komen Foundation in its mission to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and treatment.

Since its inception in 1982, the Komen Foundation has made great strides in the fight against breast cancer, funding groundbreaking breast cancer research, much of which has led to landmark discoveries in the quest to find a cure for and eventually prevent breast cancer. In addition to funding research, the Foundation works to increase breast cancer awareness and promote early detection through events like the Komen Race for the Cure. Series. Proceeds from such events help fund community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment projects for the medically underserved.

I've always said that anyone who downloads and uses either my DVC-Planner program or DVC-Chart program, and feels that some type of payment should be due, that if they'd like to then a simple donation to a church or charity will do much more good and is truly a more win-win situation for everyone.

I've never really felt any such donation should be in my name, although what you did is very heartwarming and I do appreciate it.

The programs I created are free and simply a gift from one DVC member to others. If you feel you'd like to give something back in return, then helping others is a good way to do it.
