Not sure if anybody else has experienced this but I've just had to raise a claim for my forthcoming WDW booking that I made via Quidco as my cashback was declined :confused3
This is the third time I've used Quidco to book my WDW trip and never experienced any problems at all, in fact the cashback has always been paid very quickly.

Thankfully I have a copy of the original email to say that my purchase has been tracked and obviously have my booking info so should this be approved do you think?

Thanks

Like your earlier bookings we had no problem with our WDW booking and was paid very quickly.

We did make a recent claim against a Eurocar purchase which didn't track and during the process of claiming it did list the time and date we accessed the Eurocar web site from the Quidco link which made the process of claiming very easy. We received the cashback 33-days after raising the claim, good luck with yours.

My TCB was also declined. Not a happy camper!!

I only use TCB if not on Quidco, had too many declined with them. Been fighting for over a year for this one:

29 Sep 2012 Hotels.com £86.14 £10.34

Got message this week saying they would not pay. I am averaging about 1 in 4 not paying on TCB compared to 1 in 50+ on Quidco yet others have said they are better than Quidco.

I might switch to Quidco - annoyingly, I've lost £80 Cashback and I can only dispute it on the current rate which equates to £25!!!

It was tracked fine, so I think it was WDW who rejected it. I'm not sure though, but it's a coincidence that both sites have refused to pay out!

I think it is WDW that has declined the cashback not Quidco as I received the email to confirm that my purchase had been registered.
I'm not sure what the problem has been though as originally when I was pricing the booking up the pop up box didn't come up to say that my purchase was being tracked so I went onto the I pad to do it instead. I've paid the deposit and made the booking in exactly the same way as before.
I'll be very disappointed if it declines as there is nothing that I have done wrong and it is £102 on a booking of £3430!
We'll wait and see but I'm not holding out much hope :(

I have had several issues with quidco not paying but none with TCB. I always check both sites as some pay better . I must say that WDW did pay for us and that was quidco. Hope you all get it sorted.

I guess with any cash back site for any purchase you have to be happy with the price without the cash back, and consider the cash back an added bonus.

What she says ^^^ :thumbsup2

Although I must admit there are some where I do it because of the cashback. My home insurance cost me £140 for the year and I got £98 cash back. That did play a role in my decision :lmao:

Wayne, I think it just depends on various factors. I have only had two declined ever by TCB in over 3 years and I had been expecting one of them anyway as the company went bust so that was no surprise. I have had several (including two over £50) with Quidco that have been declined, as well as many manually tracked. I still check both and can't say I avoid either of them.

I will say that Quidco seem to be far quicker in chasing up cashback and responses on your behalf than TCB but I'm happy overall with both
