Cash stay-availability question

So we booked five nights in a one bedroom at SSR with our developer points for Pres Week. Yay!

I asked the CM what the cash price would be if we added either the Saturday before or the Friday after. She told me there was no availability. I'm wondering now if this is because they are all booked or if it's because 2009 has opened up for booking. She didn't mention that on the phone.

Any thoughts? Could it really be full already?

There are limited rooms available for cash. I'm not surprised that there isnt any availability that week.

Wow. I'm glad we booked right when the window opened. They are developer points, so we had to use them or lose them.
