Departure Day:
Can I just say, even though this is the dining thread, that being able to check in for your flight and check your luggage at the hotel ROCKS. ROCKS, I say.
So, after dealing with that, we headed over to Olivia's for breakfast. Where I was surprised to find them closing the doors to the restaurant. I checked my watch; it was 10:31am. I asked the girl closing the doors, "You're closed??" and she pointed to the sign with the hours. Sure enough, they are closed between 10:30am and 11:30am. I said "Oh, I'm sorry" and turned to DH and said, "Well, we can wait an hour and just eat lunch, or we can go somewhere else."
The hostess then turned to us and said, "Well, I'll seat you anyway if you hurry and get in here before someone else comes along and sees you!"

It wasn't as rude as it sounds typed out...it was actually pretty funny. So we scooted in and the restaurant was about 1/4 full. There was another larger party that had just been seated as well. I still felt kind of bad for scootching in at the last minute though.
In any case, we were hungry since DH and I had skipped dinner the night before. I ordered the pancakes with bacon, and DD got Daisy's Sand Dollars (also pancakes with bacon). DH ordered Olivia's Breakfast and then I had breakfast envy (mostly over the potatoes...they are soooo good). We all got fresh orange juice...ya just forget how much better it is than the stuff up north.
It was an excellent breakfast and total with tip was $40.00. We tipped slightly more than 20% because our waitress was just great and I'm sure she was supposed to be doing something else.
And that's it. It's not the most gastronomically exciting dining tour, but it worked for us! Thanks for reading!!
