If I want to book a DCL cruise but not using points on it at all, paying all cash, as a DVC member would I still call MS or should I then call the DCL booking line directly?

Also, is there some kind of discount or savings on cash-only bookings for DCL by DVC members?

I guess that the $95 fee won't apply to cash-only bookings, right?

You definitely would not call MS, and would go through either a travel agent or DCL. Keep in mind, though, that many Disney travel agents (including Dreams Unlimited, a sponsor of this site) offer stateboard credits and (sometimes) discounted cruises. We have used Dreams Unlimited now to book 4 cruises and have gotten at least $125 in stateboard credits each time (it's free money!!). When you book, be prepared to pay at minimum $200/person as a refundable deposit. You are not entitled to a discount just for being a DVC member, unfortunately. Hope this helps -- happy sailing. :goodvibes

If you are not using any points at all, always call DCL yourself instead of calling MS. DVC does not offer any cash discounts on cruises.
