If anyone has been around a few years in the gpt game, you might remember Cash Duck. It was a really great site but had to close when all the fraud slammed and she decided to pay her users instead of denying the money (since most of them didn't commit the fraud...just one of those industry crack down things), which meant it came out of her/cashduck pocket since the advertiser didn't pay up. I'm sure more went into it than that, don't know all the nittygritty, but anyway, back open now!

You're old user/pass still works (at least mine did).

I have to get back in the groove. I haven't taken a survey in over a month. :sad2:

I went on and tried a couple things...hope it get back and running, I made almost $1000 in the glory days :goodvibes

I was a huge Cashduck fan girl back in the day. However, given that this is the third time she's re-opened, and that I lost my (small, but still) balance when she closed as it was under her minimum cashout, I'm not making the same mistake thrice.
Mypoints, SR, UPromise, and Inbox dollars are just a few places who HAVEN'T closed in the past 3 years. Just a penny for my thoughts.

Didn't realize it was 3 times and that people lost money. I've never had an issue with them, but if that happened to me I'd be cautious too.

I'm still on SR, though I'm seriously slacking in survey motivation now.

I hate MyPoints. I clicked a link in a survey that said "Would you like to make more money taking surveys"....one of those yes/no bubbles. It was actually for MyPoints, though was not labeled as such, I only knew after they sent the verification to my survey email address. Because I did this while already having an account, they closed mine and I lost almost $150 I was saving up there. I didn't even click on the verification link! And, since they are not a site like SR, it was impossible to try to make a case for my mistake...even though it was them or the surveywriter by not disclosing proper info. I was not the only person this happened too either, there were many posts around the net about random account closings like that.
