Cash Discount

What discount do we get on cash payment reservations? Is it just on the DVC resorts or would I get a discount at say Caribbean Beach?

The member cash discount is 25% off rack rate and is only available for the DVC resorts. It is only offered if DVC thinks the rooms will not be reserved for points

The discount is not always available. It seems to be available most often on Friday and Saturday nights.

Sometimes there is a 25% discount on DVC rooms on cash for members (and that has to be for a member stay - I couldn't book it for my daughter). The 25% discount hasn't been available every time I've tried to get it. So it's not a given. And no, it's not offered at all on the regular resorts.

The only room only discount I've found lately for the regular resorts (values, moderates, and deluxes) has been AAA. And sometimes CRO doesn't even have that.
