Good Morning

Since I have written 2 small reviews on 2 other restaurants in this past trip I have decided to write something about all of our meals. Next up is Casey's or as I called it a Jeckyll and Hyde meal. Casey's is one of our go to places for lunch when we are are the Magic Kingdom so this was a suprise this time. We all ordered the foot long chili cheese dogs (mine no cheese of course meat and cheese on the same place is a no-no). The fries were great, hot and salted just right, the actual hot dog was great as was the chili. The bun however YUCK. It was slightly stale tasting and fell apart while we were trying to eat and my girls told me the cheese was a lot of things but cheese it wasn't. Hench my Jeckyll/Hyde comment. How can a meal be half great half lousy? We ended up dumping the buns out of our meals and eating everything else. The girls powered thru the cheese. Has anyone else noticed these things? I am curious if this was a one time thing or a trend.

Bad rolls at Disney QS places have been a problem for years, and I don’t understand it.

2008-2010 we blamed it on their trying to serve whole wheat for health reasons. They tasted like styrofoam and crumbled to bits when you attempted to eat them. I’ve seen reports since then that they have gotten better, but I’m at the point where I don’t order them because I have yet to taste a good roll at a WDW QS.

And for as many hot dog, hamburger and other sandwich rolls as WDW must serve, there is no reason for any of them to taste stale.
