Casey Anthony TRIAL thread #2

GA's exwife reports he has a lying problem also. She spoke of a possible genetic link. I have seen the same in families with this disorder. I don't know anything about the ex or where she is coming from with observation. Dr. D says he spoke with her.

This is the first I've heard of GA having an ex wife. :confused3

I do see something off with George. I don't see him as a strong presence with strong convictions. I see him quite weak. But I don't see him as evil. Lost maybe, but not evil.

I agree. I sense him as a man who doesn't wear the pants in the family. I wonder if his exwife was as strong-willed as Cindy seems to be.

I didn't see the show (can't stand Dr D) but I usually don't put much stock in what ex's have to say. Depends on the situation, and what motives someone may have. Was she actually ON the show?
Can you put a link for the defense witness list? I know someone was looking and I couldnt remember where I saw it. Thank you
As soon as someone posts it, unless I get a chance to look for it myself.
Ive been reading all of your thoughts, assessments, musings and speculations and have to say I agree with a lot of it. This is such a complex case and not because of the evidence. I just stop and think and realize that we will never know the real truth.

Ive also been wondering what Casey's life was before Feb/Mar 08. This seems to be when she started meeting Amy & Ricardo and then went on to Tony and his friends. Where did she hang out before then ? Anywhere? What did she do when she pretended to be at work? Go back home? Did she have a social life? With who? So many questions and I just don't think the answers will come.
I've been wondering too. And what's really frustrating is that there IS someone who can enlighten us. This isn't like Amelia Earhart. This is about someone who is here, but who won't tell. And if she does speak out, we can't trust anything she says, unless it FINALLY sounds feasible.

::yes::

Can't you just see KC getting all the way to the highschool stage, putting her hands in her back pockets and...."I'm not really graduating.".

And I think Cindy and George would have screamed at Casey for lying like that. Casey would cry, probably throw the ole "you don't really love me" routine, make up an excuse, and they would say it's ok baby.

She manipulated them to no end, from what I sense.

Do you think there's another person who can tell what really happened? And I don't mean George. Did Casey have help in duct taping Caylee and transporting her to dump her in the woods? Could she have done this all by herself?

I also saw Dr. Drew's show tonight. He said that GA's ex-wife spoke highly of George but said that he did have a history of lying. She wasn't on the show; Dr. Drew said he had spoken with her and that she gave him permission to discuss it on the show. I have never heard of an ex-wife either, but I guess it's entirely possible. But wouldn't it be funny if some random woman scammed Dr. Drew?

Anyone know if KC spent the night at Tonys after they got the movies from Blockbuster? I can't seem to find that info.

No, she was not on the show. He reported on their conversation.

I don't really enjoy DD or NG, but I do watch when they are talking about the case.

Me, too! And I must really be losing it because I'm watching Joyless Behar now.

Yeah I am pretty sure she did stay the night with Tony that night, and the next day that is when he stayed home from school and they stayed in bed all day... if I'm not getting my days mixed.

They showed a piece on one of the local news stations about the
"running for the trial tickets". It was crazy. For the most part, it was all middle age women. When they opened, it reminded me of Toy Story Mania at rope drop. Insane!

did you see/hear about the guy that is in a neck brace and running like a madman to get a seat? Lets hope he is not out on wcomp claim or anything :rotfl: They say he got a seat today....Unreal!

In one report I saw a person in an ECV flying and cutting through the crowd. Go baby go! :rotfl:

That should be in the next Hoveround commercial - "Mr. So and So, where are you going to go in your new Hoveround? Oh boy, I'm going to a murder trial hey hey hey!"

George reminds me so much of my BIL. My sister is overbearing and my BIL acts/reacts exactly like George. He loves his children dearly but he just doesn't have that bond because my sister was always the one to decide everything. My BIL just gives the kids and grand-kids anything they want, no questions asked. It is just his roll in the family; dad doesn't ask question or judge 99% of the time. When he does talk, it is very short and to the point while my sister can drone on for hours, beating the dead horse ten times over. I love her dearly but it takes a special personality to live with her. If she would have married someone with an equally strong personality, it never would have lasted.

That is a very good question. I would presume that we *might* get some insight into that when the Defense presents their case. They will have to do something to clean up what has been presented thus far.

Unfortunately, without any witnesses that can validate the claims of the opening statement, he is going to have one heck of an uphill battle with "her claims" unless she takes the stand. Her allegations of other people will be totally inadmissible.

I think it was just Casey.

I assume Casey did the same thing because didn't she take a few classes at Valencia Community College or was that a friend of hers?

Per Tony, Casey lied when she said she was taking classes at Valencia ;):

In released documents, detectives asked Lazzaro how me met Anthony.

"Just browsing Facebook, and she was good-looking, so I hit her up," he said.

A detective replied, "Hit her up, meaning you sent her an e-mail or whatever?"

"Just sending a comment on her page," Lazzaro said.

"She said she was a Valencia student?" the detective asked.

"That's what it said on the page -- that it was a Valencia student," Lazzaro said.

But that was a lie because Anthony never graduated high school, Pipitone reported.

This just goes to show how far-reaching crime is. Look what it's done to US! ;) (Says Mare, who is horrified to be DVRing Joy Behar, while watching a recorded Nancy Grace. :scared1:)

WHAT?? This information shocks me. I can't believe Casey lied about attending college. I refuse to believe it.

;)

I'm sure our trusty investigators on the prosecution side double checked those enrollment records. Since Casey had been so trust worthy at that point, I'm sure they were just as shocked when Valencia's Admin office went "Casey Who?".;)
