Casey Anthony NOT GUILTY & Sentencing Thread 6

unfortunately i disagree with that.

there are people who think she is inocent (not even talking about the 12 on the jury) mostly men

now i truly wonder given the exact same situation, exact same personality and similar looks (meaning good looking) but male if "HE" would have been convicted. i'm guessing yes because people have a hard time thinking a mother would kill her own child but a father could.

Scott Peterson was a good looking guy, no evidence at all, he was convicted

I don't think Casey is going to have an easy life at all, sure there are some people out there who think she's innocent but the biggest majority of us think she guilty and needs to pay for what she did. This girl won't get a minute rest, That why she's supposedly going Pureto Rico to get away

You're right that there are going to be male idiots out there who give her some short lived attention, but I would be willing to bet that the attention span of those guys is a lot shorter than the rest of the civilized world who believes she's guilty as sin. What I mean by that is 6 months or a year down the road, Casey won't be on the "Marry me Casey" guy's radar, but you better believe if she shows up in a mall, department store, grocery, bar, club, or anywhere else for the next 20 or 30 years, she won't have a pleasant experience. I'm also willing to be that whatever income she gets will not be able to support a lifestyle of seclusion with bodyguards, gated homes, etc. Living that kind of life is expensive, and I think a great majority of her income will be going to lawsuits and legal fees.

It so warms my heart that all these people are trying to sue Casey. I guess there is more than one way to skin a cat! The best part is she has been pretty sheltered in jail so I do not know if she has any idea how much people are against her.

I want Casey to pay for what she has done. It just breaks my heart that this people want money from a little girl dying. seems like blood money to me

Zanny had her life ruined by this liar, I don't begrudge her the money.

The bounty hunter is going to use that money to search for more missing children, that is money well spent.

The maybe-grandmother, if she donates the money to help missing children, then I am all for it. If it is to line her own pockets, I completely agree that it is blood money.

I truly do not think that these people are going after the money for the sake of the money, especially Equisearch. I think it is more they are trying to keep Casey from profiting from killing her child.

I tend to agree with this. But, honestly I couldn't care less about their motives for suing Casey, because as you say, it ultimately will keep her from profiting from murdering her little girl.

She not going to profit, It has already been prove that business and company want nothing to do with her

Anyone post this yet?

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony has a million-dollar offer on the table.
In a WESH 2 News exclusive, reporter Dave McDaniel learned that a freelance TV producer is making an offer for Anthony's first interview once she leaves jail.
"I believe in the right of this woman to tell her story," said California-based producer Al Taylor.

Taylor, who has worked with "Hard Copy," Jerry Springer, and "A Current Affair," said he's ready to hand a real check to Anthony for $1 million.
"We're legitimate news people," Taylor said. "We're legitimate TV people, and she needs to tell her story."
He said it won't be a soft approach. It would be an interview sold worldwide.
"The first question is, 'Did you do it?'" Taylor said. "It's not going to be a softball interview. We're going to grill her like a bad piece of fish. She's going to earn her $1 million. We're going to find out exactly what happened."

Taylor said the people of Florida will benefit if Anthony accepts the deal.
"I don't feel bad about giving Casey Anthony and her attorney $1 million, because most of the money will end up back in the state of Florida anyway, because she has to pay that fine for lying to the cops and payback for the investigation," he said.
Taylor said he can't disclose the identities of his investors.
"Everybody wants to hear from (Casey)," Taylor said. "There's this whole sanctimonious thing that, 'Oh, we can't pay a murderer money.' You know, she was found not guilty. Don't forget that. Because if she was found guilty, she couldn't do the interview."
He said he has founded a new independent company just to land the interview.
McDaniel had a brief exchange of text messages with Anthony's attorney Jose Baez Wednesday night. He said he has not spoken with or heard of Taylor.
Taylor told WESH 2 that he made the formal offer after speaking with McDaniel Wednesday night.
He said he has another check for jurors who want to join in on the interview.

So this producer thinks he's going to set up a "hard hitting" interview with Casey and get a pathological liar to just spill the beans on how Caylee actually died? Yeah, right. I doubt his question will be any tougher than the ones she was asked by the OCSO detectives, and we know how she handled that.

Pretty much! Its laughable, but it would be interesting to see him try...But truthfully, just like any book she might write, Im not interested in any more of her lies.

She not going to profit, It has already been prove that business and company want nothing to do with her

Well, no...

It has been proven that some have claimed to never had extended an opportunity, that a XXX company doesn't want to see her nekkid body after all, and that a person who once or twice helped on Jerry Springer, can't extend the offer b/c the show doesn't want to do it.

Tons of businesses out there. That is 3.

I have no problem with people who might have a legitimate claim for her wronging them, suing to try and attach to her future earnings. Especially if they are legit victims of her fraud. Getting one's money back is not the same as profiting off of the death. The state is looking to get money back. For all parties, it will just be a drop in the bucket to their actual losses.

And there does seem to be a legit million dollar offer on the table. People will continue to crawl out of the woodwork.

On a different note, did anyone see the story about Susan Powell (?) this morning. She is the one that disappeared after her husband spontaneously decided to go camping after midnight in the desert in a Utah winter with 2 young boys.

He now lives with his dad who believes in his innocence. No proof has ever been raised and now they have decided, to her parents' objections, to PUBLISH on-line, her journal that she stopped writing in at around age 20. They are using her past as proof that she is solely responsible for her own disappearance. Simply disgusting of them to do that even if there was some credibility to their opinion of what might have happened.

We already know the things she going to say in an iinterview already

Nah--we just think we know.

Casey writes her own script, so I'm sure there is a plot twist somewhere that we aren't aware of...

The jury is out on whether she has jumped the shark, yet. ;)

I don't agree at all no reputable company is going to pay her to do any interviews. If so they would have been knocking at her door already. The America people have no interest in this girl or her lies

You're right she won"t tell the truth! She can keep it going awhile. She can get a few interviews with people hoping to get "the real" story. String them along like she did everyone looking for "that little girl". ( always irked me when KC or the Anthonys referred to Caylee in this manner)

So CM is defending an alledged child rapist? "surprise, suprise"

That's awful! That poor woman should be able to rest in peace. Lovely thing for him to do to his kids...

The country where we have Jersey Shore, Big Brother, and the Bachelor...

The country that celebrated OJ?

She is tabloid fodder--when the good offers don't come, she will be forced to go with the cess pool media offers.

But you did say it was proven...it wasn't proven at all. And that is all I was saying.;)

Third person referral, an attempt to make the baby less of a person and more of an object.

And CM and his comment--he is so full of himself.
