Cases of water from resort store?

I've never seen cases of water - but likely will be looking to buy one at our Poly stay. Are they readily available or are they in the back and just need to ask the cashier for it? Also is Dasani the only brand they carry? I normally drink Poland Spring and would prefer that if there were choices :)

I am pretty sure Disney has a contract with Disani so that is why they only usually sell one brand.

Is the Florida tap water drinkable with something like water enhancer flavoring drops? You know like fruit flavors, sweet tea or lemonade? :flower1:

But the tap water is drinkable? No yucky taste or anything?

I find Florida water to be really gross.

But Dasani is local-to-the-bottler municipal water with extra filtering. I would bet that the water Disney getsbis from the local water supply. So apart from extra filtration for the smell/taste, imo that means it's basically tap water. Bleah.

We have a rental car, hit Publix or Costco, and get Zephyr Hills spring water.

I didnt know that about Dasani. But I agree Florida water is horrible and only water to beat it out is NJ water. Talk about gross.

Dasani (and most purified water brands) use reverse osmosis to filter the water, which is really the best way to get the yuck out. So, it won't have any of the smell/taste of the local water. Completely different than water filters you put in the kitchen sink or with water bottles, and much more effective.

We drink RO water at home and find the tap water in FL to be undrinkable and nasty. I don't even like brushing my teeth with it. :crazy2:

Asking if it is still true that you can buy cases of water at Coronado Springs gift shop and the price.

We are going to POR in July and I’m wondering if they sell cases or 8 packs there.

Pretty sure they all do. I think we will just get some water this way as it isn’t terribly priced by Disney standards anyway. My daughter loves to get free cups from QS places and add Mio flavor drops to it in the parks but I like having a little bottle at my bedside at night. The free QS cups are fine in the parks for us. I will say that I miss the days when you could get 20 and 32 Oz cups of water. Those were awesome. The little kid sizes are kind of a pain although better than the 3-4 Oz our local park hands out.

Do they only come in 12 ounce? I need 16 oz for the flavor packets I add. Since we have a rental car, we usually swing over to Winn Dixie for a case, but this would save me a trip!

TIA

I got one drink in our resort room out of the faucet a few years ago and that was the last time. It tasted sort of like the sewer smells. That sounds a little harsh but that is what the taste reminded me of.

Who knew there were so many particular needs around different brands/sizes of bottled water.

Yes looking for an answer to this question! Staying at Riviera next month…can I can 24 pack of bottled water? Thats all I need, well maybe some coffeemate too 🤣
Is it worth the order to Amazon prime or will hotel sell it to me at a decent price??

ime looking for water at the resort gift shops, you can find 8 packs of Dasani for about $4.99. You can use your AP discount if you have one. You may have to ask because it is not always visible. Look in the cooler but also look on the shelves, or just ask someone.
