I flew into MCO on Thursday, 10/16. Due to a delay, I was more then 1-1/2 hours late. I was also meeting a friend coming in on another flight-aso delayed. Kaleem from Cartier was there waiting for us, and got us to ASMovies without incident. :)

It was only me on the return ride and I was surprised to be picked up by a white stretch limo! The driver told me that Kaleem thought highly of me, and arranged for the upgrade. :Pinkbounc I am assuming it was because I had recommended them to another friend who had used them earlier in the day and mentioned my name.

You can't beat Cartier! :earsboy:

I have a limo booked with them for our Nov trip and I'm glad to hear that the service is good. I booked them because of other rave reviews here!

I wish I could say the same. We booked with them because they seemed to get such rave reviews.

The way to WDW from the airport was fine. The driver was there (the sign was wrong - I had asked for my kids names on them - they are the age where they think their names are neat - but that's not a biggie). The grocery stop was fine (although he could have picked us a better market - the Kash and Karry is not our idea of a decent grocery store). And Julio was personable and helpful (though he made my mother in law nervous with his attentions to my four year old daughter). Boosters were there as requested. The van was very clean. All in all, reasonable - if not top notch.

We returned Saturday the 18th. Friday I called and confirmed our pickup time - 10:30 for a 12:55 flight.

Saturday we get out in front of the resort at 10:20 and no driver. At 10:30 I call and am told they thought the pickup time was for 10:00, and he waited for us for twenty minutes and then left (they had two cell phone numbers for us and we were in our room - he could have checked with the front desk if he didn't call us directly). She would send him back and he'd be there in 20 minutes. Twenty minutes later he finally arrived - it wasn't Julio and he didn't introduce himself - in fact he said nothing at all and I had to volunteer which airline when we were getting to the gates - then took his time loading the luggage - my husband and I helped in order to speed things up. So we didn't get on the road until 11:00. Only one booster was in the van - the other was a little car seat (better than nothing). One seat belt was broken. And the trip to MCO took 40 minutes - even I - who doesn't rent a car because I get lost - realized the driver took the longest way out of Disney possible (from Epcot we left heading West - the drove the freeway past DTD and the Sports Center). And then drove slow. Little men in hats were passing us.

So we got to the airport late (11:40 when I had planned to be there at 11:00 - we had two preschools and two seniors with us - if it was my husband and I we wouldn't have cared nearly as much - the two of us can MOVE through an airport) and only didn't need to run to catch the plane because the airport attendant that took care of our luggage and ticketing was so wonderful. We even managed to grab food - although not in the fashion I'd planned.

We did get where we were going and in time to catch our flight, but we will try someone else next time.

I'm SOOOOOOO sorry and I don't mean to laugh here.....but the "little men in hats" is just too durn funny to pass up!

Sorry that you had a less than perfect experience with them. I guess I'm not at all familiar with this company.

It was supposed to be funny....I never rant too seriously unless its serious. And being late (as long as you catch your plane) doesn't make me want to use them again, but isn't too serious.
