I'm always glad when I hear people say they had great service there, we did not. Our server hardly came to our table, at the end of our meal we had piles of plates on our table for 4, which had 4 people at it. We had a hard time getting refills on our drinks as well, I would have tipped 10% for the service we received but since they add the 18% I had no choice.

Just a "tip"--LOL. If your service was that bad I would have complained to the manager and asked to reduce the gratuity--I know on the TiW card plan in WDW you can do that (because that also adds an automatic 18% tip). Maybe take a pic of your table piled with plates that were never removed and empty glasses and show it to them?

They don't charge you "extra" for the character meal, they include the tip in the bill.
If you are dining at CCT, I hope you consider tipping 15-20% of your meal cost. The more people that don't, the more you can expect CCT to include an 18% tip regardless of party size in the future.

I didn't even think of that, honestly when we left (after seeing all the characters walk past our table (we only had 3 stop at our table) and the lack of refills and table cleaning) I was just so annoyed I simply wanted to leave. Plus, I have a bit of a temper and don't like to react right away, I like to wait and consider before complaining. lol
