Carthay Circle Dinner - how long?

About how long will a dinner at Carthay Circle last? Not the prixe fix package, just regular dinner? I would like to try it but not sure my 11 year old DS could handle a 2 hour long meal.

Ours are usually 90 mins to 2 hours.

Depending on how quick service is I have been in and out in an hour...but the one time we needed quick meal it took an hour and a half to get out.

It all depends on how many courses you're ordering. I've had a full meal with appetizers and entree take about 90 min to 2 hrs. When we needed a quick meal, we just ordered a bunch of appetizers and left in about 30-45 mins.

It is a 2 hour meal when I eat there, but I am only with adults and we are really taking our time, ordering every course. If I had younger kids with me, I think I could be out in an hour.

If you would like to speed up service, just let your server know that and they will oblige. We had to do that once with a lunch reservation and we were out within an hour. We did order apps and desserts too, FWIW.

At Carthay the pace of your meal can be either slow or fast depending on your preference and what time you eat. If you eat close to opening time it is much easier to speed up the pace of the meal as the kitchen is not slammed. If you are looking at a 6:30-7:30pm dinner the dining room will be full and it will be harder to get things from the kitchen quickly. Your server will try, but its not guaranteed.
That being said, I enjoyed a wonderful 3 course meal over the course of 2 hours with my 4 year old on my last trip and he did fine. They will bring out the kids meal with your appetizers and I find that works well as he eats SLOWLY, lol. Then we enjoyed dessert together. The menu has activities and crayons for coloring. Only you know your child though so make your decision based on that. And also remember that its Disneyland, they are used to small children so a slight meltdown happens on occasion and the servers and staff will try to help you out. I've had servers squat down and show my little one how to fold a napkin into a swan or joke with him to make sure he is enjoying himself too.
Oh and all else fails.... a classic Mickey cartoon on your phone works great too!

We went there at the end of July for a 6:50 ADR. We were a little early, were seated within five minutes and were done within an hour. We did not order multiple courses, just (non-alcoholic) drinks and main courses. We were also in the alcove room to the side, not sure if that makes things quicker as there are fewer tables or possibly a little longer since I believe there was only one or possibly two servers for the area. Most other occupied tables were at the end of their meal when we were seated and only two other tables came to dine while we were eating, so it is probably a bit quicker!
