Carsland souvenirs question

Hi all! We got back from our trip a week ago and had a great time overall - and are IN LOVE with Carsland!

My 6yo son used his saved up tooth fairy money & allowance to buy his own souvenirs. He decided on a toy representing each ride in Carsland - the build-your-own RSR car; a small tractor pulling a trailer from Junkyard Jamboree; a flying tire from Luigi's.

We opened the flying tire, put in the batteries...and nothing. Am I doing something wrong? I mean, it seemed pretty easy to me - and yet...nada. It kind of looks like the spring part doesn't line up quite right with the negative end of one of the batteries... Has anyone else had an issue with that toy? Any ideas on how to make it work?

I do not know; however, if the spring isn't lining up, you could try bending it a little.

You can also contact Disneyland (the number should be on the back of the reciept) and exchange the toy for a non defective one.

I once had the same problem with a toy...it turned out that the non-spring end wasn't coming in contact with the battery well enough. Figured it out after the replacement from Disney didn't work either. Took some pliers and bent that piece out just a little and then we were good to go.

Thanks for the tips :)

My husband is out of town but when he's back, I'll see if it's something that he can fix and if not, will see if I can call and get the replacement.
