Hi, I'm looking for some info/reviews of the dining in CarsLand. I know from the official Disneyland site there are 3 food places:

Flo's Cafe - Is this a sit down restaurant? Do you have to make reservations?

Cozy Cone - Food served in Cones. Can someone elaborate please. Is this just snack food or can you make a meal out of it? Is there seating in this area?

Filmore's Taste In - Looks like healthy options here. Once again, is this just snack food or can you get actual meals here? Is there seating available?

Many thanks!

This should help:

We really enjoyed Flo's. It is a counter service location with plenty of seating. No reservations. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and some desserts available. The Cozy Cones are more focused on snacks, but a meal can be made of some of the choices. Fillmore's is basically a fruit and drink stand.

Thanks, I did check out this link and it helps a lot.

What did you order at Flo's? Did everyone like their meals?

What time of day were you there and was it crowded?

Thanks.

Flos has delicious food! We ate there twice! I had the salted caramel brioche french toast and hubs had the American Breakfast. We were both happy campers! The french toast...omg...droooool. SOOO yummy!

I ate here for lunch one day too and had the Citrus turkey salad. This was really good. HUGE salad, nice and fresh! It was the perfect choice for the day we were there! It was about 104 degrees, and this was just what I needed to feel refreshed and ready to go again! :)

I would consider the Cozy Cone Motel various types of snacks, but you could piece them together for a yummy meal. We have a few times. The pretzel bites are Y-U-M!!!

We were last there in July. We actually ate at Flo's three times. For breakfast DH and I each ordered the eggs and bacon plate, and we were really disappointed in it. I would not order the eggs there again unless they have been improved. DS13 had the kid's waffles (they don't have an adult version so they advise you to order the kid one). It's not a lot of food, but he said the waffles were fine, and he ate my potatoes from my egg plate since I didn't like them much either. My in-laws went a couple weeks ago and reported trying the French toast. They said it was interesting but way too sweet for their tastes. I would much prefer to eat breakfast at Pacific Wharf Cafe in DCA or Riverbelle Terrace in Disneyland if I'm going to eat a counter service breakfast in the parks. DS11 actually got the eggs and bacon cone at the Cozy Cones and liked that a lot. It certainly looked better than the nasty wet reconstituted egg stuff on my plate from Flo's.

The lunch/dinner foods though were very pleasing to our tastes. There were four of us, so we tried to order everything any of us were interested in trying. Our favorite meat choice was the pork. I order the sauce on the side though so I can control the quantity. The Coca Cola barbecue sauce served with the pork is good if you like sweet. The beef and turkey were surprisingly tasty as well. We all really liked the roll that comes with each meal. The mashed potatoes, carrots and peas, and corn side dishes were all tasty. We also ordered mac and cheese as one of the sides, not listed but just ask, and it was fine as well. None of us liked the baked beans, but I'm the only one in our group who was likely to. I found them way too sweet and goopy. None of us are into cold sides, so we didn't try those. We shared the chocolate mud pie which is small but tasty and rich. DH had a milkshake for one visit and said it was a good shake but nothing special.

Flo's is definitely on our list as a place to try again for lunch or dinner. We were there at an off-time once (maybe 4 PM or so) with not a lot of people around, and it took us longer to order and get served than the time we showed up at prime dinner time with a line of 15 ahead of us.

We did Flo's a few weeks ago for lunch. It was Wednesday, 10/24 at about 12:30. It was not crowded at all, and there were 15 of us. Most of us got the turkey. I had mine with the mashed potatos and pasta salad. I thought it was tasty, and the portions were big. The only complaint is that my SIL thought it was too salty, but no one else had any issues. We would go there again.

How was the pasta salad? Was it too salty or well done in your opinion? I am very interested in eating here so had to ask.

Ate at Flo's for lunch over the summer. Went around 11:30am during a really crowded day and only waited a few minutes to get our food and found seating indoors no problem. There were three of us and all had the citrus turkey breast. The various sides they have are great as well. I had the baked beans, really great flavor, and the pasta salad, it was good but not my favorite. The chocolate pie was also pretty good.

I've had the pretzel bites from the Cozy Cones and liked them. The churro bites are served cold along with a cold chocolate dipping sauce and would be better if both we're served hot. Also, the Cones have great drink selections to try out.

You could definitely make a meal out of a couple of cones. My favorite cone is the green chicken chili one. It's a bit bigger than a snack, but not quite enough for a meal. My mom and I had churro bites and a coffee for breakfast one day.

I'm also a big fan of Flo's. I've tried all of the entrees except the salad, and I haven't been disappointed by any of them. There's lots of variety, especially in the sides. And the pies are soooo yummy! :thumbsup2

Flo's was great! It wasn't on my list of places to try, but got into a conversation with a CM who mentioned that she really liked the food there, so thought "why not"?

I think I had the beef slices with mashed potato and something else, as well as the green tea with passion fruit foam. Mashed potato was amazing and so was the meat. The green tea was nice but would rate it just a bit higher than a diet coke...

Really liked it though and would have been back if I had enough time...

We ate dinner at Flo's one night in August, maybe around 530-6. It was moderately crowded, but we were able to grab outdoor seats easily. There were 5 of us. Everything was good, except the firl taking our order, she messed up a lot and I had to go back for price adjustments.

The food was good. One of the kids just had the mac & cheese, the rest of us had turkey. I only remember that my sides were the mashed potatoes & the corn, both were very good. We all agreed we would eat there again.

For the Cozy Cone, my oldest DS went to get their grape soda & some popcorn. That line took FOR-EV-ERRR (in my squints voice). popcorn::

I thought the pasta salad was good...not overly dressed. Definitely not salty. My SIL thought the turkey was salty. I am not the type that usually salts my food (in addition to what seasoning is already on it), and it was fine to me.

Thanks! We normally eat lunch early 11 or 11:30 so I'm hoping we can avoid the lunch crowds.

I would like to time our dinner at Flo's and have a seat outdoors when it gets dark and they turn all the lights on in Radiator Springs. Any recommendations on good seating for this? Would it be better to be at the Cozy Cone?

I don't know where the best seats are, but I would probably sit near Flo's... The seats around the Cozy Cone are further away from the street, and kind of blocked because of the hotel's office so you probably would get more of the effect from the lighting if you are at Flo's. I've never actually been there when they've turned the lights on though, so I'm not sure.

Does anyone know if they play the music like in the movie when the lights turn on?

Flo's has views of RSR from the back and the street from the front, most of the seating is in the back. There is a large patio of outdoor seats out front that have a great view. There is very limited seating at the Cozy Cone.
