We were thinking of taking a taxi from the GF to the Westside for Cirque and back after the show, instead of dealing with busses. Do taxis have carseats available?
Thanks! So, if we need a taxi with a carseat, would we be better off calling for one, or do you think that we will be able to find one waiting (at the GF and DD) that has a carseat?

At the GF, ask one of the Valet's -- They'll be able to get a cab with a carseat for you. One thing to note -- It could take a few minutes for the cab to arrive.
At DTD, there are usually a bunch of cabs, and at least one of them is bound to have a car seat. Usually the vans will mostly have them, the sedans, some will have them.
Any idea how long the trip from the GF to Downtown Disney might take in a taxi and how much it might cost us?
Maybe a stupid question, but do the vans cost more than the regular cabs? I don' t have much taxi experience.
Also, if we skipped the taxi and just used the Disney bus, any idea how long that might take from GF to DD, well the Westside actually. Is there still a bus stop at the Westside, or would we use the Pleasure Island bus stop?

Vans and Sedans are the same price. Not quite sure how much it will be -- traffic and lights are a factor, but I might guess $15. The Valets will have a better guess for you. As for time -- the taxi can take you right to Cirque -- about 15-20 minutes. Maybe less, maybe more, it all depends on how much lead is in the drivers foot.
The bus will stop at the Marketplace first, and PI second. The PI stop is the one you would want, but you'd still have to walk to the Cirque tent. Including walking, it could 35 minutes. Maybe less, maybe more, it all depends on a million different factors.
Just make sure to get to the show early. Doors open 30 mins prior to showtime, and they have a great pre-show.
